Here’s a quick and dirty all caps font I created entirely in Illustrator with a flat pen brush using my Wacom Bamboo. I then took it into FontLab for spacing and font generation. Back In illustrator, I set the alphabet and wrote a Halloweenie haiku to go with it.

Two things, really:
1. That is very, very cool. I have a Graphire and now I’m starting to wonder about some of its untapped potential.
2. You say you have made a font of this? Will you be making it available to the public at some point?
Thanks Alex!
If you’re going to do lettering on your Graphire, I recommend taping a piece of paper to the surface to give yourself some resistance. Otherwise I found the surface to be too slick making it difficult to have good pen control. The Bamboo has a textured surface so this is not a problem. Have fun!
Unfortunately I have an obligation to only produce fonts for Hallmark so anything I do for 26symbols will remain a one-off piece.
That still sounds like a good gig, fonting for Hallmark. Cheers and thanks for the suggestion!
